The Baunach product 3 x 2 LH was used in the solar thermal system to supply a mixed temperature to the radiant floor heating system from the solar thermal storage buffer tank.
The University of Minnesota is the only house to utilize this technology http://www.solardecathlon.umn.edu/ They went on to win the first place Engineering award for the overall HVAC system which includes the solar thermal system. The U of M team took 5th place overall for the whole design of their house |
